Powerful sound and performance
The Specter X360 13, just like the majority of HP laptops, has Bang&Olufsen’s sound signature, and just like in most of these, it maintains good quality, but without being immediately fantastic. We get nice fullness in the bass and midrange, and a sharp treble, but some details are lost if B&O sound optimization is activated. Without it, we get no further pressure in the sound, but in return very fine detail reproduction.
The computer comes in a handful of different configuration options, some of which appear to be exclusive to certain major retailers, others are sold more widely, and still others are sold directly by HP. The one we tested is for now only available in HP’s webshop and is called Specter X360 13-aw0016no.
This looks like a really interesting model with good ultrabook performance thanks to the 10th generation Core i7 processor, Intel Iris Pro graphics, 16GB of RAM and fast 512GB SSD. It is not a uniquely high-performance computer in the autumn and winter range, but provides lively and safe power for both office work and surfing, as well as easier media editing, especially in programs that can use the graphics card such as Adobe Photoshop.
Max screen without heavy cost
What makes this particular model stand out is the display, which has 4k resolution and is based on oled technology, or more specifically amoled, instead of ips-lcd. It’s not the first laptop with an OLED screen we’ve seen, but so far they’re rare.
